Willie Strings: I grew up as the typical mid western boy from Buffalo Chip, Kansas, milking cows and bailing hay. When I was 3 my daddy got me a Uke and I used to play that thang and I thought I was Elvis or something, singing to the chickens every night. I had a great family that supported me at every turn. I got opportunities at all the state fairs to play my Uke, heck, I remember singing at a hog auction in Kansas City. My big break came when I moved to Topeka, Kansas and met Kid Dynamite. Who would of thought our paths would cross but I found a healin’ in that Boogie Oogie Oogie! The rest, as they say, is history
Frankie Fly: This drummer was born in Detroit. Rumor has it the late James Brown is his estranged father. Started touring withe the Brown band early in life and found his love for the funk. Keep your lady friends at a distance cause he has a way of taking them home after the show.
The brother of famous comedian Dave Chapelle. Started out as a dj in some not so famous clubs until the boogie bug hit. Now tows with GT doing what comes natural on stage.
